Alam Santi, PREDIKT and T4CCE: A Strategic Partnership for Climate Education

Alam Santi has entered a strategic partnership with PREDIKT Consulting & Innovation, a well-recognized, Jakarta-based organization focused on disaster risk reduction and climate change education, and with Teachers for Climate Change Education (or T4CCE).
These three organisations recently spent quality time together at the Alam Santi HQ in Bali for a major strategic planning session, working through what a longer-term collaboration between Alam Santi/Ecogames, PREDIKT and T4CCE could look like in practice.
This exciting partnership highlights the shared passions and complementary strengths of the three organisations. Alam Santi/Ecogames contributes experience in disaster risk reduction and environmental education, sustainable product design and educational game development. PREDIKT brings deep expertise in disaster risk reduction, climate change, research, learning design, and public-sector and humanitarian networks across Indonesia. And T4CCE brings decades of combined experience in classroom teaching, climate change pedagogy and participatory research, drawn from a network of Australian educators, academics and community practitioners who are committed to building teacher agency and hope-centred climate action.
What the Bali session looked like
Strategic planning can sound abstract on paper. In practice, it looked like a few full days of active engagement with the teams' visions, goals, and values. Sessions included screen-sharing calls with team members joining remotely; whiteboard mapping of governance, ownership and funding questions; and hands-on play with Ecogames' products. The teams approached serious strategic questions with the same energy and curiosity that the games themselves are built to inspire in a classroom.
A straightforward shared goal emerged from that session: create major impact across Indonesia and the wider region in environmental, climate change and disaster risk reduction education, combining Ecogames' physical and digital games with PREDIKT's DRR and climate education tools and partner ecosystem, and with T4CCE's climate change pedagogy and network of Australian educators and researchers.
Building on KONEKSI
This collaboration in Bali built directly on work already underway together, including the partnership around Ecogames' What's Up Earth? and PREDIKT's GenerAksi at the KONEKSI Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIE) Jakarta Summit in April 2026.
That event brought together around 300 researchers, government officials and civil society representatives from Australia and Indonesia, and gave both teams a chance to present their games side by side and think through how they complement each other. Ecogames' What's Up, Earth? takes a deep dive into the science behind climate change: what causes it, and what we can do to understand and address it. PREDIKT's GenerAksi takes a more direct approach, focused on disaster risk reduction and immediate response. Ecogames is built for classroom use; GenerAksi is built for wider civil society outreach. The Bali strategic planning session picked up directly from those conversations and filled it out with future planning, turning shared interest into a clearer shared direction for what comes next.
Who's involved
PREDIKT is led by Avianto Amri as CEO, alongside a team of around a dozen people in Jakarta. On the Alam Santi side, the collaboration is anchored by founder Petra Schneider and the wider Ecogames team, with input from Leigh Johnson of Teachers For Climate Change Education (T4CCE), who serves as strategy and education advisor and the primary point of connection with Australian partners and schools.
For Alam Santi, this partnership reflects a broader shift already underway, from operating primarily as a standalone games and curriculum design studio toward building regional partnerships that can carry climate and disaster risk reduction education further than either organisation could reach alone.
