Gede Sugiartha, Alam Santi Director and Developments
Consultant
Born in Bali, Gede is a certified environmental engineer
with a diverse set of technical and community development skills. Gede guides Alam Santi consultancies
with technical support for projects’ environmental engineering components,
while also ensuring culturally sensitive community facilitation and outreach
for all projects. Gede is also an award winning documentary filmmaker and for
larger Alam Santi development projects he provides insightful documentary
development skills that help to bring the essence of projects’ vision to the
public eye in a meaningful and memorable way.

Petra Schneider, Alam Santi Board of Directors and Design
Consultant
Petra has been living in Indonesia for more than 20 years
and once a Canadian; she is now an Indonesian citizen. Petra is an independent
consultant and communications specialist, and one of the founders and
developers of the a reputable non-profit organization IDEP Foundation that has
been successfully delivering community programs in education, Permaculture, disaster
risk reduction and relief throughout some of the most turbulent areas of the
world. After serving as the Executive
Director of IDEP Foundation for more than a decade, Petra now acts as an
advisor to IDEP while growing the Alam Santi consulting initiative.

Melissa Loh, Alam Santi Developments Consultant
Melissa’s background includes a blend of Asian and Western
ethnicity. She has years of experience in strategic project and business
planning for both international scale profit and non-profit initiatives. At
Alam Santi, Melissa integrates her wide range of strategic project development
skills into providing a sound and holistic social business model for consulting.
Melissa brings a deep understanding from both investors' and the community’s
perspective to all of the Alam Santi projects. She ensures that projects are
founded on a solid balance of business acumen combined with professional and accountable
sustainable development principles.
